Who can Apply for JASSO Scholarship?
The Japan Student Services Organization Scholarship is open to international students who are in need of financial assistance and also with a good academic performance. The scholarship is valid for countries that possess diplomatic relations with Japan.

- Applicants must not be receiving more than 80,000 JPY in total from other scholarships for study in Japan.
Note: upon termination of the period of study in Japan, the affected student will complete his/her studies at their home school.
Amount of Scholarship
Awarded students are entitled to a monthly stipend of 80,000 JPY and over 242,000 JPY per year.
Note: The University also provides scholarships for students in an emergency need for financial assistance. This could arise due to the sudden changes in the family finances. Some situations considered as emergency includes: bankruptcy, unemployment, death of sponsor, natural disasters (such as; fire, storms, earthquake), increase in tuition fee etc.
