The annual Megaworld Scholarship is here again and open to incoming freshmen, sophomore and juniors studying in the Philippines. This scholarship is strictly based on academic excellence and financial needs. Selected Filipino students are awarded a fully funded scholarship to further their education.

About Megaworld
Megaworld Corporation, is a real-estate company in the Philippines. The company develops large-scale, mixed-use, planned communities incorporating residential, commercial, educational, and leisure components.
Overtime, Megaworld gained interest in promoting education, healthcare, environment, people empowerment and other noble undertakings. The Foundation stands by the principle that a corporation exists to serve others. They believe that it is their duty to give back to the community as they grow bigger. In giving back, the foundation established a scholarship program for students in the country.
Through its annual scholarship program, Megaworld Foundation supports more than 400 students each year. It has helped students from over 100 colleges in the Philippines. These students show academic excellence in the fields of engineering, accountancy, architecture, communication arts, business, information technology, interior design, hotel and restaurant management, tourism, and social sciences.

Who can apply for Megaworld Scholarship?
The Megaworld Scholarship is open to incoming freshmen, sophomore and juniors studying in the Philippines. These categories of students are considered eligible to participate for the fully funded scholarship.
The foundation recently added high school scholarships for both public and private high schools. Aside from full scholarship grants, these students receive stipend and allowances.
Scholarship Courses
Students are given the opportunity to study any desired course in their chosen institution. However, your chosen course/field of study must be recognized and accredited. Below are lists of courses studied by past winners of the Megaworld Scholarship.

Megaworld Scholarship Eligibility
This scholarship is in two categories: college freshmen and Sophomore/Junior students. Each category has its requirements. Interested student must fulfill all eligibility status of his/her respective category.
Incoming Freshmen
- Letter of admission or certificate of enrollment and passing result from a university entrance exam.
- Certificate indicating final grade report in senior high school with an average of at least 85% or its equivalent; and with at least 80% grade in all subjects.
- Certificate indicating upper 10% class ranking of graduating batch (if available).
Sophomores and Junior Students
- Grade reports from previous semesters to the current semester with a GPA of at least 85% or its equivalent, and with at least 80% grade in all subjects.
- Registration/assessments form with class schedule.
- Most recent course curriculum.
Additional Requirements
- Certificate of birth
- Utility bills such as; electricity, rent, water, internet, telephone etc.
- Combined gross annual Income Tax Return (ITR) not exceeding Php 300,000 (original copy). Or BIR Tax Exemption Certificate of Father and Mother and Affidavit of Non-filing of Income Tax.
- Letter of recommendation from a college or university.
- 2 pcs. – 2X2 I.D. pictures
- 2 pcs. – 1X1 I.D. pictures
- Photo of applicant with parents/guardian.
How to apply for Megaworld Scholarship
After gathering all the requirements documents, applicants will fill some documents, undergo an examination and series of interviews to further assess qualifications.
Make sure you read the scholarship terms and conditions before you proceed to apply. Applicants with incomplete documents will have their application revoked. Avoid submitting false or incomplete documents.
Megaworld Scholarship Portal
The Scholar’s Portal is accessible to only current scholars of Megaworld. Aspiring applicants will be granted access once selected to be beneficiaries of the foundation.

Selected students for this scholarship are entitled to receive the following benefits:

- Career opportunities after studying.
Recipients of Megaworld Scholarship will get the opportunity to work at Megaworld Corporation and/or its subsidiaries and affiliates after completing their program.
Megaworld Scholarship Deadline
There is no specific date for closure. Applications for Megaworld Scholarship is currently ongoing. Interested students are required to apply early and wait for feedback from the foundation.
Applicants should expect a response on their scholarship within 4 to 6 weeks or fewer. While your application form has been recorded, do not reapply to avoid duplicate entry.
