Transfer applicant: candidates are considered a transfer applicant if they have already taken units/courses in college or university.
2. Need for Financial assistance
The applicants have to show need for financial assistance by answering a financial aid questionnaire or form wherein they have to disclose their financial situation such as their family’s annual income or their family’s annual expenses. This is done to ensure the right candidate gets the scholarship.
3. Excellent Academic performance
Applicants must have good academic performance. This includes good grades, extracurricular activities and others.
4. Mindset to Learn and Provide Value
Applicants must also should readiness to learn and provide value. Providing value simply means the ability to contribute towards the enrichment of the undergraduate school community, and potential to be of service to others within the context of national development.
5. Recommendation from previous college
The Committee on Admission and Aid for Ateneo scholarship is responsible for selecting the new members of the student body. Benefits of Ateneo Scholarship grant
Upon presentation of a certification from the high school principal, a Valedictorian will receive a 100% Tuition and Fees Scholarship while a Salutatorian will receive a 50% Tuition and Fees Scholarship.
Allowance
The Ateneo Scholarship offers allowance for books, dorm, and transportation twice every semester through BDO Cash Card. It is the student’s responsibility to check the scholars’ Facebook group for the schedule of release of allowances each semester.
