Scholarship Selection Process

A total of 500 students get selected for the Monash University APS Scholarship. Unfortunately, more than the 500 students apply yearly for this program. This makes the APS Scholarship very competitive.

The scholarship committee alongside Monash University select students based on Low income and Educational disadvantages (if any). These are the two major selection criterion.

Scholarship Cancellation

Your scholarship would be revoked if you don’t comply with the program policies. Any scholar on Achieving Potential funds can be withdrawn if he/she;

• Does not maintain a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 50 each semester.
• Refuses to provide an annual progress report to donors (if stated in your offer letter). The annual report is an opportunity to share your appreciation, experiences and benefits from receiving the scholarship.

How to apply for Achieving Potential Support Scholarship

Eligible students for Year 12 are advised to submit their applications through VTAC. Applications for these category of students opens 2nd of August till 8th of October.

Students already enrolled in Monash University should submit their application directly to Monash. Applications for current students opens 17th January till 4th of March.
However, the Achieving Potential Support Scholarship may be delayed. Either way, students are advised to apply early.
